Your Mission:

As EDU Sales Development Representative, you’ll be tasked with identifying and generating sales opportunities through outbound calling activities. You work well under pressure, think outside the box, easily initiate relaxed but informative two-way phone conversations with prospective customers, and you are highly self-motivated. 

Responsibilities

Create target prospect lists and penetrate key accounts

Cold call into prospects generated by a variety of outside sources.

Be responsible for educating and developing prospects leading to hand-off to Sales Team

Identify key players, researching and obtaining business requirements, and presenting solutions to begin sales cycle

Set appointments for Sales Team when a lead reaches a qualified stage

Drive attendance for webinars and live seminars, set meetings for conferences

Ensure successful follow through of sales cycle by maintaining accurate activity and lead qualification information in CRM application

Qualifications

1+ year of successful experience in telemarketing and/or sales related fields

Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, coupled with excellent listening skills and a positive and energetic phone presence

Extremely self-motivated with a diligent work ethic

High level of integrity and strong commitment toward building a successful company

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Experience with CRM software preferred

Bachelor’s degree (or experience equivalent) strongly preferred in a sales, marketing, business development, or related field.

Accountabilities/Key Performance Indicators:

Sales activity - conduct minimum 80 outbound sales touches per day (phone calls as well as individualized emails).

Meet sales quota (commission shared with Sales Team)

Effectively manage CRM - ensure sales emails, calls and meetings are updated in CRM within 24 hours of their occurrence.
